The EOC Group, established in 1948 and based in Oudenaarde, Belgium and Cham, Switzerland, is a family business. Over the last 75 years, EOC has developed into a worldwide supplier of adhesives, specialty binders, coatings and surfactants for a wide variety of applications and industries with over 700 employees. Industries that are supplied with EOC-products are packaging, automobiles, carpets and textiles, paper, personal care products, paints, adhesives and many more.

The requirements for this exciting, demanding and responsible strategic mandate are:
- Strong professional track record and longtime experience in manufacturing of chemical products;
- Capability of serving as the “technical conscience” of the board of directors;
- Competence and practical experience in handling security issues and environmental protection regarding chemical products (preferably knowledge of Seveso guidelines);
- Strong technical educational background at university level or comparable (ETH, University or University of Applied Sciences);
- Entrepreneurial spirit with an international management experience at C-level, preferably in companies comparable to the size and nature of EOC Group;
- Thorough acquaintance of the owner-oriented corporate environment and strong will of serving the company;
- Time availability of approximately 20 - 30 days a year, flexibility to travel abroad, fluent in English;
- Appropriate personality profile for the EOC Group: strong identification with family businesses, high level of integrity and trustworthiness, commitment and willingness to contribute, conceptual and strategic thinking, paired with rational decision-making ability, enthusiasm for the company and the industry.
